I need some info from a Haywood County death
certificate in order to determine if this person
is part of my line. I am hoping to find someone
in the Waynesville area who could look it up at
the courthouse and email the details:

Place of Death: Waynesville, Haywood
Place of Residence: Waynesville, Haywood
Date of Death: March 20, 1970
Sex: Female
Race: White
Name: PLOTT, NORA
Age: 88 Years 00 Months 00 Days
Autopsy: No
Place of Injury:
Marital Status: Widowed

I am looking for a Nora Smith, daughter of Callie
Smith and ???. She would most likely have been
born in Macon County NC. I am told that Nora
married a fellow named "Smith Plott", but I have
not been able to find much on him.

you can help with this. Also I would like to
know if Haywood County has a local newspaper.
If this gal is mine, I would also like to find
her obit, and when and where her husband died.
Any info on where to go would be appreciated.
