The earliest information I have about Champ LANGFORD is that he was in
Haywood Co., NC in 1812.

1. Served in War of 1812 in Captain John McClure's Company, Seventh
Regiment, North Carolina Milita.

2. Married Elizabeth REED on 16 Nov 1812.

In St. Clair Co., AL: He had 7 children. He bought land on 30 Jul
1833. He died on 5 Oct 1833.

Did he live in Haywood Co., NC or someplace else? Who were his parents
and siblings?
