John and a Merry Christmas to you and Kay Lynn also. An another thanks for
the good work that you both do for us.

Like you I am kin to everyone in Hyde County. Both parents were born and
raised there, as I was.

I am stuck on Nathaniel Gibbs who died in 1848 and is buried in his own
graveyard.  Probably in his field or yard. Page 172 and 208 in "In Memory
of".  His wife was Christiana Sewell (daughter of Henry and Sarah Sawyer) She
also married Sharrack Sadler and David Payne. My greatgrandfather was Joseph
Burns (Joe) Gibbs born 9/6/1847 and died 6/1/1925. He was married to Emmaline
Swindell (daughter of Samuel Lindsey Swindell son of and Ann Mariah Harris
(daughter of Jonathan Harris and Cassandra Gibbs).

If anyone out there can help with Nathaniel's parentage then I would so
appreciate it.
