Hi List,

I hope someone who is knowledgeable about the Confederate Army can help me.
I know that my gg-grandfather was in the CSA and this is what was found in
the Macon Co. Historical Society on the wall and this is all that we have
been able to find. This was a list that appeared in an earlier newsletter by
the historical society but they cannot find that issue now. I want to find
out where Alfred Marion Dills enlisted in the army. This is all we know.
Dills, A.M. Comapny G Regiment 69 Leg off above knee Ellijay. E
llijay Twp., Macon Co., NC is where he lived after the war. He grew up in
Jackson Co., NC. There was another Alfred Marion Dills who grew up in
Jackson Co., NC and this is the one they always send me information on. Can
