Does anyone recognize this Slatton in the below obit from the Greenville
News, 29 Mar 2002?
Altie P. Cooper, Simpsonville
Altie Roberta Parker Cooper, 64, of 128 Edwards Circle, died March 24, 2002,
at her residence.
A native of Jackson, N.C., shewas a daughter of the late Alton B. and Altie
Lois Slatton Parker, and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Melanie Cooper, of
Greenville; three grandchildren, Amber Christine, Mackenzie Elizabeth and
Tyler Eugene Cooper; six brothers, Phillip Parker, Gerald Parker, and Donnie
Parker, all of Greer, Dallas Parker of Moonville, Ronnie Parker of Lyman, and
Kenneth Parker of Duncan; and three sisters, Martha Jane Robinson of Greer,
Sheila Carlton of Marietta, and Laura Henderson of Lake Toxaway, N.C.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.
The families are at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Children's Miracle Network.
I have an Nancy Adaline Anders who married James Slatton from the 1800's.
Wondering if this woman is out of this branch. Thanks!
