I am looking for info on Julius Cornelius Jones b Nov 16-1888 d Aug 29-1951 who married Nettie Francis Matthews( maiden name) 1st marriage to a ? Johnson...2nd marriage to Julius C. Jones... Nettie Jones b July 14-1886 d Mar 25-1942 Their children were #1 Etta Johnson b 10-6-1908 d 12-16-1996 married Albert Barbour & their children Ruth Jolly who`s son is Wayne Jolly #2 Grace Veo Jones b 8-21-1912 d 4-14-2001 Johnston County, N.C, married Bruel Calvin Ivey b10-27-1909 d 3-1976 Johnston County,N.C. #3 William Marvin Jones b 6-8-1914 d 2-9-1955 #4 Flora Mae Jones b 1919 d 1921 age 2. #5 Julius Melvin Jones ( called Melvin..also Jm & Jim) ) b 4-23-1926 d 5-3-1992 married 4 times...#1 Ethel Mae Worley Jones Tucker married 7-16-1944 in Dillon, S.C. ...Melvin Jones was born 4-23-1926 but he used the b-day of 6-27-1926...one child...Melvin E. Jones JR., S.C. #2 wife Ruth Jones ( from Autreyville,N.C. near Fayeteville) ...their children are Donna Jones Mann, Debbie Jones, Kathy!
Jones Gales. #3 wife Mary Smith ( a widow from the Columbia, S.C. area) #4 wife Elizabeth (Betty) Windsor ( from Concord, N.C.). #6 child of Julius C.Jones & Nettie Jones is James Driver (JD) b 3-2-1928- living nursing home in Fla. #7 Maggie Louise Jones ( goes by Louise Matthews) b 12-3-1920-living married Thaddeus Eastwood b 9-10-1910 d 5-7-1985 children Peggy Williford & B.T.Eastwood Jr. Julius C. Jones & Nettie Jones married in 12-1911. Julius C. & Nettie Jones buried in the Kennebec Baptist Cemetery in angier< N.C.( Harnett County) as well as Marvin Jones & Thaddeus Eastwood. Lucian S. Jones ( Julius C. Jones parents) married Alice Adams. Lucian Jones d May 1930. I think Julius C. Jones bros & sisters were William Alonzo Jones b7-7-1899., David L., Katie Jones. I believe Nettie Jones ( Matthews ) mother was Louisa. These Jones lived in Angier, N.C.( Harnett County) but some moved to Johnston County. Do any of these names ring a bell...sound familar.
