He was admitted to Adams USA General Hospital in Memphis on 19 January and was returned to duty on 8 April 1863.
He then was in and out of hospitals as his unit moved around, but he was back in Memphis when he died, so I presume at the same hospital.
It was probably a field hospital - maybe only tents.
