Or I do surely hope this might prove being so!

Might any of you be familiar with this JOHNSON / JOHNSTON family
of Macon Co., NC,?

Am engaged in an on-going effort to trace the descendants of our CRAIG
family from the mid-1700's down through about 1920 or so, as best I
might be able, for the benefit of future generations of family researchers.
To date I have varying amounts of information for a bit over 5,000
descendants of our CRAIG family coming down just through the sixth
generation. I recently learned of the 11 Jun 1840, Macon Co., NC,
marriage for Margaret HUGGINS to Jacob Lewis JOHNSON / JOHNSTON.
Margaret being a CRAIG family descendant, I am now hoping to follow
her descendants, down through to at least the 1920 census, as completely
as might be possible. Any and all help or assistance will be most appreciated
by this family researcher. Will gladly share what I know of this family's
ancestry with anyone whose family might happen to descend through this
JOHNSON / JOHNSTON family. Am hoping to eventually learn who each
of these children may have married, and then to follow their descendants
through 1920.
