I have searched for this information about Briartown Church. Where did you
find this information?
I grew up in Briartown area and I was always told my Great grandfather May
and family started this church, and donated the land for the church.
Along with the land for the School.

Anyone else know anything?

Perhaps Mark May only owned the land where the Church sat, and Mr Caylor
donated the land where the older graveyard is, to the direct left of the
Church.

Anything appreciated.
