I am looking for living relatives of Robert & Frances (Stamey) Fleming. My
Mother, Aunt and myself would like to correspond. The following is what
information we have.

Robert Fleming m. Frances Stamey c. 1880. They were both born in NC. They
had 3 children: Arthur b.c. 1881, Elizabeth (Betty) Carrie b.c.1886, and
Tillman b. 1892. They would have been living in Spring Creek, Madison Co.,
NC c.1905.

Elizabeth m. Edward Gandy c. 1906. He was born in Indiana in 1871 and was a
railroad conductor. Last known residence for Edward is El Paso, TX. They
had 3 children: infant son (d. at 6 mo.) b.c. 1908, Martha Neoma &
Elizabeth Leona b. 4/2/10 (both still living). Martha is my Mother.

Edward left Elizabeth in 1909. When she discovered she was pregnant, she
moved to CA (Burbank) to join her Father and brothers and give birth to the
twins. She later married Stanton Sprinkle. She died in Burbank on 5/31/71.

I remember Elizabeth corresponding with a neice (at least the lady called
her Aunt Betty) in the 60's from Spartanburg, SC.

I will send a picture of Elizabeth if requested. Any input will be
appreciated-
