Charles,

You need to see a copy of the "Martin County Heritage" book, Family
#114. I believe it is the family that you are seeking, but someone
needs to look at it in terms of what you already know and then check the
pertinent census'. I will try to decifer this entry, but some are good
and some are bad, and this one is terrible to decifer( and has many
mistakes in the dates, if nothing else), but may provide many very
valuble clues to use in your research. If you will send me your snail
mail address(privately), I will copy the page and send it to you.

I think that it says:
1. Ameriah COBURN b. Abt 1808 m. Elizabeth
Children: Barsha, Marian, Spicey, Thomas, Julia, and Joseph Henry
COBURN

2. Joseph Henry COBURN b. 1855, d. July 1904, m. Courney BENNETT b. May
1853, d. Jun 1934 (Courtney was the daughter of James Thomas BENNETT and
Mary Anna ASKEW)
Children: John Henry b. 1877, Nancy Adelaide b. 1882, Mary Elizebeth b.
1881, Calvin b. 1883, Wm. Thomas b. 1885, Spicey Lu Betry b. 1889,
Joseph Griffin b. 1892, Mamie Courtney b. 1893 (m. Javin Dillian
LEGGETT) , Millie b. 1894, and Frank.

Happy Hunting!
