Lookig for information concerning George R. BELL son of Judge Digby V. Bell
of MI. I know that George served in the Civil War and that after the war he
stay there in North Carolina and was a director for the Freedmen's Bureau. He
died in Jamesville, NC Oct. 26, 1869. I beleive that he was burried there. Any
and all help would greatly appreciated.
