Surname: MCCLELLAN, COLLENS, FREEMAN, PENLEY, LACKEY, SILVERS

Iam interested in finding the MCCLELLAN family. I have been sent one census
record of 1850, MCDOWELL COUNTY. Does anyone know this family? If yes,
can you tell me where any of the children went to, who they married, did
they die? If yes where buried. I have found MARGARET JENNIE MCCLELLAN,
she married BENJAMIN FRANKLIN FREEMAN,and moved to Illinois. I am still
searching for JOHN MILTON MCCLELLAN,and NARCISSA COLLENS MCCLELLAN and
their other children.
THOMAS-AMZI-CATHERINE-JOSEPH-JOHN-NARCISSA-GEORGE.
I believe there are still family members living in the area, so please
contact me if you are related to me. I am only doing family genealogy,
not prying into anyones private life. I was adopted as a baby, am now 69
years old, and would love to know all of my family. I did find all of my
siblings and mother, years ago, and we are all doing this kind of search..Mother
has passed, lived to age 104.
She was born in ASHVILLE,N.C. Her parents were
WILLIAM JESSE FREEMAN and DORA BELL PENLEY.
DORAS PARENTS--MARY LACKEY and JAMES RANSOM PENLEY.
