Donald R. Bolick, 61, of Britthaven Nursing Center, Morganton, died Saturday, July 29, 2000. Born to the late John and Ellen McMahan Bolick, he was a self-employed carpenter.
Surviving are three sons: Ronnie, Johnnie and Darrell Bolick, all of Nebo, NC; one daughter, Mary Bolick, of Nebo, NC; three brothers: David Bolick, of Charlotte, NC, and James and Coy Bolick, both of Marion; three sisters: Bonnie Parsley, of Spruce Pine, and Cartha Martin and Pauline Jarrett, both of Marion; former spouse, Doris Martin Bolick, of Nebo; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 1, 2000 at Westmoreland Chapel. The Rev. Ricky Bolick officiated and burial was in Pinnacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at Westmoreland Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Pinnacle United Methodist Church Rt. 3 Box 351 Nebo, NC 28761. Westmoreland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
