Doris June Carver Revis, 73, of Marion, died Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at her residence. Born October 22, 1928 in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Oscar and Ora Mae Barr Carver, she was retired from Marimont Furniture Company and attended Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph L. Revis; three sons: Roger L. and Roy D. Revis, both of Marion, and Richard C. Revis and his wife, Jeanette, of Nebo; a daughter, Debbie R. Randolph and her husband, Davis, of Glenwood; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2001 at Westmoreland Chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Upton officiated and burial was in McDowell Memorial Park. The family received friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of McDowell County 218 Logan St. Marion, NC 28752. Westmoreland Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
