Ralph A. Citak, 47, of Marion, died Thursday, December 13, 2001 at his residence. Born December 26, 1953, in Park Forest, Ill, to Evelyn Citak of Kentucky and the late Albin Citak, he was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church. He was involved with McDowell Mission Ministry for the last five years and a substitute teacher in the McDowell County Schools.
Survivors include his wife, Linda T. Citak; a son, Aaron M. Citak, of Marion; a daughter, Erica H. Citak, of Marion; three brothers: Raymond Citak of Wyoming, Brian Citak of Minnesota, and Dr. Michael Citak of Kentucky; and a sister, Cathy Citak, of Illinois.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2001 at Glenwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Brewer officiated. The family received friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday at the church. Westmoreland Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
