Mida Sandidge Browning, age 88, of Marion, died on April 4, 2000. Born in Church Hill, Tennessee to the late James Archibald and Nelly Simmerly Sandidge. She was retired form Burlington Industries and a member of First Freewill Baptist Chruch.
Survivors include two daughters, Joe Creasy Robinson of Marion and Peggie Creasy Biebel of Royal Oaks, MD; a son, Jimmy E. Browning of Nebo; a sister, Rosa Dean Vosburg of Kingsport, TN; 11 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Browning.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 in Westmoreland Chapel. Rev. Roger Hayley will officiate and burial will follow in the McDowell Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at Westmoreland Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to First Freewill Baptist Chruch 250 Baldwin Avenue, Marion, NC 28752.
