Mary Marcella Frinkley Davis, 72 of Old Fort passed away Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was born in Moundsville, West Virginia to the late Herman and Virginia Frinkley. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Luther Vinson Davis.
Surviving are one son Larry Davis of GA; one daughter Lynda Davis of Old Fort; one brother Dean Frinkley of Moundsville, WV; three grandchildren, Leia Becker, Lisa Bailey and Lori Davis; and four great grandchildren, Kieran Becker, Maia Becker, Halle Becker and Masen Davis.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday November 22, 2006 at Kirksey Chapel in Old Fort. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC at 12:00 PM following the service. Condolences may be made at www.mem.com or www.kirkseyfuneralhome.com.
