Doris Ann Poteat Allison, age 60 of Nebo passed away Sunday May 27, 2007 at Grace Hospital. She was born April 14, 1947 in McDowell County to the late James Hobert Poteat and Louise Clark Poteat. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker, a beloved mother and grandmother.
In addition to her mother, her husband Robert Edward Allison, three sisters and the rest of her loving family survives Mrs. Allison.
The family will be having a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society 120 Executive Park Asheville, NC 28801. An online register is available under OBITUARIES at www.westmorelandfuneralhome.com.
