my gr gr grandfather had enlisted in carrol county va for confederate
service with 29th co e inf., but his confederate pension lists him being
from Washington county,va
then verbal accounts listed him as being from tazewell county and so I
started looking for WALLS in tazewell, don't forget that some counties are
formed from other parent counties,i.e.Tazewell came from Wythe and Russell
counties. also I tried to look up in my records for a Miles Walls, I have
run accross him several times and now cannot locate that info, but I am
sure he was in one of my census'
in 1880 the va census has miles living in pitts county, southern, whatever
this means I don't know, on page 581, but I know I've ran accross him some
other places....
i hope my lead doesn't throw you off.. have you run accross alot of william
walls?
I have and I get confused on trying to make sense of them..can you shed
some light?...from Kansas..
