I do have a marriage record as follows:
Lic issued 9 Nov 1868..John W. Sloan, son of Robert & Mary Sloan to Belle
Abernathy, daug. of Sydney & Carolina Abernath. married on 18 Nov 1868 at
the residence of the bride's father by J. L. D??win, C. L.B?
I would say from that that she was Isabella. I wouldn't think she would be
the same martha Ann. Unless you have looked at the cemetery stone, it may
be an error in the listing.
