Bond for John S. Prather & Caroline Hedly, was issued on 16 June 1855;
Silas F. Prather, bondsman. they were married 17 June 1855 by Alexander
Cooper, J. P. (Just. of Peace) (This is taken from "Marriages of
Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, 1783-1868" by Brent H. Holcomb,
Genealogical Publishing co., Inc., Baltimore, 1981, p. 155.
