Joy,

Elmwood Cemetery is a VERY large public cemetery, and it's not likely to be
on the Internet any time soon! However, the burial cards for Elmwood,
Oaklawn, Pinewood and Evergreen public cemeteries of Charlotte have been
microfilmed. They are available at the Main Branch Library in Charlotte.
But, then, if you are in Charlotte, you can go to the cemetery office at
Evergreen Cemetery and browse the records. An LDS Family History Center
near you may be able to obtain the microfilms. In fact, transcripts of many
of the older cemeteries of Mecklenburg County that were surveyed by the WPA
are available on microfilm.

If by Sharon you mean Sharon Presbyterian Church, that would be a great
addition to the Roots USGenWeb archives.

Sharon Memorial Park is another large cemetery, and still very much in use.
I believe that it is privately owned, as are the Forest Lawn cemeteries. I
also doubt that those records will be placed on the Internet in the near
future.

One cemetery of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill is not on the
Internet... the cemetery on the same side of the highway as the church...it
is quite large and contains many old graves.
