I am looking for the parents of George Thomas Irvin b. 1826 and Zachariah Mitchell Irvin b. 1827. There were a total of 8 children by 1843. I don't know when the father died, But they are living with their mother Delilah in Cannon Co. Tennesee in 1860. I believe they may have been born in Mecklenberg or Rowan County. I would appreciate any info that could lead me to their father. It is possible the last name was listed as Irwin. I have seen many marriage records for Irvins, but most of the census indexes list Irwin.
