Several days ago someone posted a query for Lucinda McElhany and family. I
didn't save it but while looking through some Steele Creek marriages to day
I found the following:
Lic. issued 30 Sept 1872 to E. C. McElhany, age 31 of Meck. Co., son of Eli
& Lucinda McElhaney of Meck. (father -dead, mother -living) married to R. E.
Dwyer, age 19 of Meck. daug of Thos & Sarah Dwyer of Meck. (father & mother
living), married 1 Oct 1872 at the residence of the brides father, Thos.
Dwyer in Steel Creek by J. C. Russell, Meth. min.
witnesss: Thos. K. Dwyer, Sarah T. Dwyer and Maria Dorn? all of Meck. Co.
Hope this will be found by the person who was inquiring.
