Reply: Donna Johnson of Charlotte, NC has several family links on the
Mecklenburg County, NC website. In connection with my Ramsey research she
sent me the following partial McCree records:

Children of Margaret Johnston and Winslow McCree:

1. Winslow McCree, b. c1840, NC; found in 1850 census of Dallas, Co., AL,
age 10.
2. Thomas McCree, b. c1842, NC; found in 1850 census of Dallas Co., AL.
3. Margaret McCree, b. c1849, Alabama; found in 1850 census of Dallas Co.,
AL, age 1.
(There are two more children I do not have)

Donna shows the family of John Johnston and Elizabeth Alexander also
removing to Dallas Co., AL.
