Wow, you're helping to inspire us! We may have to buy another toner
cartridge. Lots of family history & heritage floating around. We'll help
capture it and get it in the book!

Thanks to the Committee for launching this important project! We've been
waiting more than 20 years for this! When will you have a flier describing
the project and giving details on who, what, where and when to submit
stories?

For the love of all, I will submit some of my family. I have plenty more.
This is a line I received from a cousin in Charlotte today.
This is the family of John Skipper b. 1831 and Minerva Jane Kissiah b. 1852.
They were married in Union County, NC. I do not know his linage as yet.
She
is the daughter of Davis/Darius Keziah and Mary Helms of Union Co., NC.
John and Jane Kissiah Skipper are buried at Elmwood.

Azzie Mhaley Lambert born Sept 9, 1879 and James Monroe Skipper born Dec 29,
1878 were married on July 25, 1888. Azzie and James are buried at Elmwood.

These are their children:
James Lester Skipper Born July 25, 1889 - died September 3, 1899.

Andrew W. Skipper Born May 25, 1898 - died October 9, 1912 buried at
Elmwood.

Myrtle Irene (Duck) Skipper Born April 30, 1904 (died August 29, 1998)
Married Carl Becker on March 27, 1929 - One Child Mary Irene Becker
(Adopted)

Harry Lee Skipper Born ??? (died May 2, 1990) Married Eva Love on August 7,
1926 - Three Children Margaret Eva Skipper, Jean Skipper, James Skipper

Mamie Lee Skipper Born January 17, 1910 (died June 3, 1987) Married Charles
