I am searching for any descendant, family member or acquaintance of
MR. LESTER GRAYTON BLACK
born: 08 November 1891
died: 26 January 1978
Charlotte,Mecklenburg, North Carolina
In particular, i am seeking information on a Bible that he had that listed
many of my MCCLELLAN ancestor's. Said Bible was provideed to Mrs Mary Harris
Stratton who was a direct descendant of Isaac McClellan. Isaac McClellan was
my gr-gr- grandfather's brother. Mrs Stratton used the Bible in her
genealogy research. If anyone has any information, please contact me. I
would be so appreciative and i will pay to have copies of pages from the
Bible made, and postage, plus pay for time spent in preparation. Thank you.
Gr- gr grand daughter of MILTON MCCLELLAN, who was born 1803, died after
1900 in Grassy Creek, Mitchell County, North Carolina.
