Thanks for sending the info. this is not the man I am looking for.

Philip Wilson born 1811 in Burke Co, was son of William James Wilson born in
VA. James Wilson, his son was my ancestor, also born in Burke Co.. What I
want to know is: William James Wilson died at the home of Phillip, and I was
told that the "Wilson boys carried William James down to Rutherford County
to bury him with his wife, Nancy Haney Wilson". I would like to know if this
story is true.

I have a picture of Philip and his many "boys", he only had one girl and
about 9 boys. I have an obit from the Mitchell Mirror about him when he died.
But it does not tell where he is buried.
