Since I have found at least two men named Elijah Hilliard ca 1835-45, was
there an Elijah HILLIARD born prior to this time for whom these men were
named?

I have heard that we are kin to the HILLIARD family, but I have found no
evidence of it. So was there a HILLIARD who was named Elijah? What did he
do? Senator/Minister/Rich land owner???????????
