Hello,
I am James B. Shepard and have recently subscribed to your rootsweb
Email group. I have been researching my ancestors for several years and
just found your web page. It is great!

I am interested in information about George Shepard, born ?, died
about 1823 ? I am a descendant of his. He had at least one son,
Jacob King Shepard, who was born Nov. 1822, and died about 1903, in
Onslow county, NC. Jacob's wife 1)Susan Aman
2)Millie Ritter. Jacob K. Shepard is my gggrandfather.

My greatest interest is trying to find out where George Shepard came
from, his siblings, parents, and other ancestors, and what European
county they immigrated from.

Appreciate any information related to the Shepard orgin.
