In the late 1800's early 1900's two daughters of Jim Ward
married Spooner men who were not related to each other (as
far as we can tell) somewhere in this area of NC. Ebbie
married Luther Spooner and Mame married Lourain Spooner.
Mame was hit by a car in the 30's and missed work at the
shirt factory.
Her son Jim (James Clifford Franklin Spooner - also known as
Cliff) was a fireman according to the 1920 census. Her
husband, Lourain, disappeared. We have no info on his birth
or death. We have less on his parents (three possible parent
pairs- none definite). We are also looking for the wife and
other family of Jim Ward. Does anyone have anything?
