Consider Bushee (Boushee) born 10 May, 1763 in Warren, Bristol County, Rhode

Island was a private in Capt. Cole's company 1st, 7th, and 8th Rhode Island
Continental line. He assisted in the surrender of General Cornwallis. He
Made Cpl. June 16, 1782 and was discharged at Saratoga, NY. He died 8 July
1846 and is buried in the Surles Cemetery in Dunn, Harnett Co. NC. His
Widow Patience Carter Bushee received a pension and died 3 June 1856.
