Mike is probably right on the mark when he says the UNC you are referring to
is most probably the one in Chapel Hill. It is probably a good thing to
know, however, that the University of North Carolina is actually the state
university system and is made up of many individual schools. I imagine it
most have grown since I was there, but I believe there were 17 or so in the
1980s. Among them are UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Charlotte, NC State, Appalachian
State, East Carolina University, Western Carolina University, NC Central
University, UNC Wilmington, UNC Greensboro, and (a bit of trivia) NC School
of the Arts.

Now, I know that isn't 17, but I'm drawing a complete blank right now on the
others. I'm sure I'll think of them about 1 AM!
