William Riggs died 1782 in Orange Co., Thomas b. circa 1765, and
John d.
1811 in Orange Co. The only Riggs in the 1790, 1800, and 1810 Caswell
Co.
Census was a Thomas, who in 1810 was at least 45 years old. Thomas died
in 1815 in Caswell Co. In the 1850 Caswell Co. Census, my ggggf John
Riggs
b. 1815 Caswell Co. is listed next door to a Thomas Riggs b. 1792 in
Orange
Co. I believe this Thomas to be the son of John(who was son of William)
and the father of my ggggf John, but I have no proof. My ggggf m. Ann
Phillips of Orange
Co. in 1840 in Caswell Co. Thanks.
