Interestingly, my forebears also were connected with Stoney Creek. The
will of Walter Thetford, who died in 1767, divided 400 acres of Stoney
Creek Survey between a son, and son-in-law. The property was located on
Stoney Creek, just above where Deep Creek joins the Haw River.

My research of Thetfords and Williams' turns up possible connections with
the Reed family in North Carolina, and Georgia.

Any related information would be welcome.
