From an earlier posting it has become apparant that
some people are not aware of the subject journal being on
line. Rev. Craig also wrote "A HISTORICAL SKETCH OF
NEW HOPE CHURCH, In Orange County, N. C." in 1891. A
transcription of this is on line at the List WebSite.

I personally have no known connection to Rev. Craig
or the New Hope Church. However, I consider these documents
as important in the history and genealogy of Old Orange
County. To quote Rev. Craig in his journal: "I have always
entertained very little respect for the man or woman who
neither knows nor cares to know who their ancestors were."
