According to ALBRIGHT (George's mother was an
ALBRIGHT) researcher, Joseph Vance, George's will is dated
17 May 1828 and probated May 1836. Alamance County was not
formed until 1849. Prior to that the entire area of
Alamance County was in Orange County. Vance says that the
will can be located in Orange County Will Book E, pages
382-384.

George FOUST was a man of considerable means and
held a number of slaves. I have also heard (not verified)
that at least one of his sons had children by slaves.
