People still have negative attitudes toward native people. If you do not believe that come on to Cherokee and go to the local Wal-Mart with one of us. It is located in the next town over called Sylva. It is difficult to go in there and not be shown discrimination. I am married to a white woman, she can go in by herself and be treated wonderful. If she is with me well, she heard phrases like "prarie ni**er", "red ni**er" and so on. It is difficult to get help and so on. This happens even worse when it is June or Dec. because those are the two months we get our per capita checks. People that see us buying things look upon us like we are trash. It is just something that you tend to get use to after a bit. I am not compaining, just telling you the realities of it. Anyway, maybe one day I will also get use to this internet deal and not mess up so much. Until then, please bear with me LOL ~ Yonvadisi
