Your father is a dear man, I have known John Lambert for years. He is a good man ... I have seen him many times while visiting the center. Thanks so much for posting, good to see someone who is from the Qualla on here.
I am also sorry that you had to go through what you did at the museum, that is by no means right. I would have gotten the employees name and made a formal complaint against him/her. Please do not feel I am feeling sorry for myself, I am not .. just stating that there is still prejudice around and that in 2005 it still exists for what ever reason. We as a nation of Cherokee people need to stick together and quit all the fighting, bickering, back stabbing, fighting over blood quantum etc ... etc ..
