Does anyone have any information on Pottery making in and around the
Orange/Guilford counties in the early 1800"s. My GG Grandfather Peter
Tomas Coble and his brother Adam Coble moved from NC to Tn and as young
men started making Pottery around the Hickman County, Tn area.
I feel they did not just move to Tn and start making pottery, they had
to have learned the trade in NC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
