Dear rooters:
I am putting this out for a dear friend to see if there are any OLIVER
researchers out there. George Oliver b ca 1728 St Paul Parish, Stafford co.
Va, d bef. 1790 census Rockingham Co,NC. He was resident of Guilford Co,NC
during Revolution and was Ensign under Capt John Nelson's Co. He is reported
to have had 10 sons and possibly as many as 5 daughters. His first son was
John Oliver and had living with him a George Turner. We understand this was in
the book Early Families of Rpckingham Co,NC.
Can anyone tell me the names of his children- and grandchildren? Does ANYONE
know ANYTHING about this family? Help will be gratefully appreciated. AM
counting on you generous and kind researches to help on this. Its not for me
, but for a friend.
