My daughter has been putting together notes given to her by my grandsons
other side and she has come upon a John B. Belton b. March 20 1883 s/o G.W.
(possibly George Willard) birth place Cherokee NC.
We don't believe his father was Cherokee because all points to England but we
have no information on his mother, not even a name. It is said that she was
full Cherokee.
Would like to find out what I can for the grandson.
If anyone has heard of either of these men would you please be kind enough to
contact me?
