The following are listed in a very old copy of “Tennessee and Tennesseans” most are within the time period of the mid to late 1800’s and early 1900’s. There is a multitude of them and I can’t possibly type out each biography. So if any of these sound interesting I am willing to photocopy and mail to you if you could please send me a self-addressed stamped envelope. Most are apx 500-1000 words long. There is a wealth of information in these as many name the parentage and location, as well as birth dates of each. Please notify me if you are sending a request so I will know to look for it.
