hey y'all,
i just signed up for this list and wanted to let y'all know i'm here :o)

the names in the subject line are some of the surnames that i am searching, mostly from montgomery and stanly county and surrounding areas.

i've hit a brick wall with the harris clan....... i have my grandpas daddy, elihue g. harris married to nancy "lorena" dennis harris and i have his daddy, "alex" harris who was married to "aller" or "eller" (my grandma was not sure of spelling or her maiden name). graves at prospect hill give elihue's dates as, birth: 1868 and death: 4/15/1947 and give lorena's dates as, birth: 2/2/1876 and death: 5/30/1925.....

if anybody on this list has anything of help for any of the surnames that i am searching for, would you please share?
