Using my "N.C. Gazetteer" , on page 77 I find:

Bushy Fork rises in sw Person County and flows ne into South Flat
River.
Bushy Fork, community in sw Person County.
Bushy Fork Township, sw Person County.

Bush Creek rises in s Avery County and flows sw into North Toe River
Bush Creek rises in ne Chatham County and flows ne into Overcup Creek.
Bush Creek rises in e Lee County and flows ne into Cape Fear River.

Nothing about Bushy Creek.
