Announcing the forthcoming book:
The Heritage of Stanly County, NC - 2002

We're overwhelmed! We've received a massive amount of inquiries by e-mail
and telephone about our new book THE HERITAGE OF STANLY, NC-2002. Based on
this response, we know the Heritage Book will be a great success! What
makes this book so unique is that it will be written by the people of
Stanly County about the people of Stanly County. The book will highlight
stories and pictures of Stanly County families, past and present, and is
part of the prestigious North Carolina County Heritage series! Eligibility
is simple; you live in Stanly County, used to live in Stanly County, or have
roots here. This allows you a free 500-word story and picture. These will be
combined with articles and pictures about Stanly County communities,
churches, clubs and other topics.

Stanly County joins Anson, Cabarrus, Richmond, Union and the more than
twenty other North Carolina Counties who have completed their own beautiful
collector's edition books. Our next meeting will be Monday, June 4, 7 PM at
the Hampton Inn, 2300 US Hwy. 52 North in Albemarle. Come join us as we
