Judy Barrett was very helpful to me in getting me a census report to let me
know that Edward R Newell who was from NC was in TX in 1880, and she also
got me census ifnormation that might help me trace down my Hiram Wright. She
has Hiram born 1805 living in Locust Hill, Caswell County, NC in 1880 and
also another Hyram living in Grant, Randolph County, NC in 1880 at age 34.
Now this Hyram could be brother to my Charity Ann Wright Newell that she
located for me in TX in 1880.
How close to Cumberland county, NC is the above counties? Where would I get
information, i.e. birth certificates, marriage certifictes, etc on the
above?
Thanks, everyone on this list has given me a lot of information and when I
feel down, someone always finds a little tidbit to keep me interested in
geneology. (G)
