Subject: [NCROOTS] Library Visit Tips
Date: Sun, 9 Jun 2002 21:29:34 -0700
Hi,
I am going to Raleigh this week and while I am there I plan to visit the library for the first time or anywhere else that may help with some of my brick walls. Any veterans out there have some advice on what's best to look for? Perhaps some time saving tips (places that won't help, etc)...I understand it is 10+ floors.
My main brick wall is William Wesley Brown, who is only listed in the 1850 Census his mother (assuming) Nancy. Can't find anything at the Moore co. library. Doesn't help that the courthouse burned in the late 1800's I believe.
Any help is much appreciated.
