Hi Nancy! Glad to hear about your great Cleveland Co., NC Heritage project. We're also excited about our new Moore Co. Heritage Book. We've been wanting one for a long time. Now voila! It is about to happen! We understand a brochure will be printed (and soon will be on-line) fully describing who, what, when and where. You used Walsworth Publishing, right? They seem to have the best program, and most colorful and beautiful books.

We know a lot of folk with roots in Cleveland, so excitement is the order of the day! (or month)...and now our anticipation in Moore County is really growing!

I was excited to learn about the new book;
The Heritage of Moore County, NC - 2005!
We have just finished our book; Cleveland Co., NC Vol. 2, and were most excited to learn of your book project.

In Cleveland County, we received stories, photos and book orders from all over the Country. It was amazing to see how many folk have roots in North Carolina!

At first folk seemed reluctant to submit material, but then as the word spread, we had a land-slide of material. Our book is now being type-set and designed for Summer delivery.
It has more than 700 stories on families, places, things and
events. There are hundreds of heirloom photos accompanying the articles, and it will truly be a collector's edition! We were very pleased with Walsworth Publishing Co. They are the ones doing most of the remaining North Carolina County heritage series. We especially like the fact that they allow us to have a beautiful color cover (other than black)!
